Curious Rumba [Piano] (NFMC P2) / Wynn-Anne Rossi - ALFRED

This solo by Wynn-Anne Rossi is written in 4/4 meter but has the feel of cut time. Ties held over the bar line give it a rumba vibe, and students will feel like dancing as they play the triads that are divided between the hands. Staccatos and accents add fun, and repeated melodic and rhythmic patterns make it easy to learn. There is an optional teacher duet accompaniment. A Federation Festivals 2016-2020 selection.
