The Hal Leonard Student Piano Library Teacher's Guide

The 'step-by-step' teaching suggestions in this helpful manual are divided into the following categories: PREPARE: Introduces the technical coordination and rhythm of each piece through listening and responding. PRACTICE: Includes steps to learning each piece through blocking, comparing phrases, and identifying intervals and notes names. PERFORM: Includes suggestions for putting all the musical elements together to play each piece in the appropriate style. Each page of the Teacher's Guide features specific references to all coordinated activities in Piano Practice Games, Piano Theory Workbook, Piano Technique, Notespeller, Piano Solos, and Music Flash Cards. This 96-page book also includes Lesson Planning Charts which provide an at-a-glance view of how to coordinate all of the books and materials in Level 1 of the Hal Leonard Student Piano Library.
