Pimploy Promvech - Piano Teacher
Pimploy Promvech is an accomplished organist, pianist, and music teacher based in Morgantown, West Virginia. She is currently pursuing a Doctor of Arts (DA) in organ performance at Ball State University, where she studies under Dr. Marko Petricic. As part of her graduate studies, Pimploy has participated in masterclasses with renowned organists including Dr. Wilma Jensen, Stephen Buzard, Robert Hobby, Dr. Damin Spritzer, Dr. Bruce Neswick, and Christophe Mantoux. Her performances span solo recitals, chamber music, and collaborative works, and she brings extensive experience in teaching organ, piano, and music theory.
Since 2018, Pimploy has been a fellow of the American Guild of Organists, demonstrating her deep commitment to the advancement of organ performance. She holds a master’s degree in Piano Pedagogy from West Virginia University, where she studied piano with Dr. James Miltenberger and Dr. Ching-Wen Hsiao, alongside private organ studies with Dr. William Haller.
Before moving to the United States in 2014, Pimploy earned her undergraduate degree in music from Srinakharinwirot University in Bangkok, Thailand. During her time there, she performed as a soloist and accompanied the university choir. Pimploy also contributed to music therapy projects at Pattana Medical Center and performed for royal radio broadcasts from the palace of His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej The Great.
