Nacol Sharkins, Guitar, Piano, Violin, & Voice Teacher:

Nacol Sharkins, has a BM in Music Education (1994) and a Certification in Music Therapy (2012) from Seton Hill University.

Nacol has spent her life connecting to the beauty and wonder life offers every day. From a young age, she felt a deep inner call to connect with self, nature, and sound. Growing up she spent long hours outdoors singing in nature. She has spent most of her life playing piano and singing for Catholic masses in the Diocese of Pittsburgh, as well as 25 years teaching music in various Catholic schools in the area.

In the late 90’s, an inner stirring began while Nacol led a choir for healing masses in Pittsburgh. She began to realize that sacred healing space can happen anywhere, even unexpectedly. She began training in Holistic Studies and now teaches Kundalini Yoga lessons and performs sound healing sessions.

Nacol is eager to share what she has learned from her experiences with her students. In addition to her music lessons, Nacol will be offering private and group Kundalini Yoga as well as sound healing sessions at PYCO School of Music.
