Julia Simeone, Violin Teacher:

Julia Simeone graduated from Seton Hill University with a bachelor’s degree in Psychology and a minor in Music Performance. She is certified in Suzuki Violin Unit 1 and will continue with the additional levels of Suzuki certifications as she pursues a bachelor’s degree in Violin Performance from Slippery Rock University.
Julia started learning violin at the age of four and has performed with the Pittsburgh Philharmonic and as a substitute for the Westmoreland Symphony. Julia frequently plays violin for musicals and has performed for shows at the Lamp Theatre, the State Theatre, St. Vincent College, the Apple Hill Playhouse, and more.
Julia is passionate about music and the positive impacts it makes in people’s lives and loves the opportunity to share the joy of music with others through teaching and performing. She believes each student has different needs when it comes to learning and making music, and strives to make each lesson enjoyable for all.
