Dominic DeLaurentis, Oboe Teacher:

Dominic DeLaurentis is an oboist and pianist based in Pittsburgh. He received his Bachelor’s degree in Music Education from Youngstown State University, and his Master’s degree in Music Performance from Duquesne University under the direction of Scott Bell.
Dominic is currently a music teacher in the Mt. Lebanon School District, and had previously taught in the Boardman Local School District in Youngstown, Ohio. He is a member of the Pittsburgh Philharmonic oboe section.
Dominic has performed in numerous groups such as the Dana Symphony Orchestra, Dana Wind Ensemble, Duquesne University Wind Symphony, Duquesne University Orchestra, Duquesne University Triano Wind Quintet, North Pittsburgh Symphonic Band Wind Quintet, and Clarion Symphony Orchestra. He has also performed as a soloist with the Dana Symphony Orchestra in 2016.
Dominic was a church accompanist from 2010-2019, and has accompanied various choirs. He has also been the rehearsal accompanist and piano player for Hampton High School’s theater program since 2018.
